#### Discussion content:
Today is the last day of spring classes. We
reviewed and discussed last week's homework, which was to write five sentences
using time words.
#### End of semester (Teacher’s Encouragement)
The teacher thanked the students for their hard work this semester and gave them a gift from "Taiwan Mandarin Learning Center – Seal of Taiwan”.
#### Discussion Topics:
Ken used almost 50% of his Mandarin to share with
his classmates the two car accidents he suffered within a week of May 8th and
May 15th. Despite injuring his neck,
fortunately, his mother and two children were unharmed. He reminded
everyone to be careful when driving, keep the car in place when an accident
occurs, and immediately use a phone to take
pictures of the scene.
#### Encouragement activities:
The teacher encouraged Anna to practice her speech "All I know about Taiwan" for Taiwan School graduation ceremony, where she will share it with the entire school. We'll be cheering her on.
#### Graduation Ceremony Arrangements:
The
teacher encouraged everyone to stay after the 4:30 graduation ceremony to enjoy
the "Taiwan Ten Drum Performance." Due to rain, the originally
scheduled "Asia Pacific Festival" on May 18th on Pennsylvania Avenue
has been postponed to June 1st. Since the Ten Drum Troupe needs to leave
Washington, D.C. to perform elsewhere, we are fortunate to be able to
appreciate their display of Taiwanese traditional cultural performances ahead
of time.
#### Introduction to TCML travel plan:
The teacher introduced the "TCML Promotion of
Tourism Taiwan Plan" and we learned the following vocabulary:
- $2588 yuan (block)
- Air tickets
- Hotel
- Three meals
- Sightseeing
- Sun Moon Lake
The deadline for registration is July 31, 2024.

Online classes during the summer vacation are from
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

I wish everyone a happy summer vacation and
continue to work hard to learn Chinese.

#### Xuéqí jiéshù gǎnyán:

#### Xuéshēng fēnxiǎng:
