Christmas 2020 – Amid the frustration and lock-down under the ravaging COVID-19 around the globe, we made it for Zoom celebration.  I am blessed for all of us having the basic need to get by this unimaginable year. My “House of Chang - pickled cucumbers & white radishes” business.  I joke myself that I become a “Full (Fool)-time Cook” with the aid of this ridiculous virus which seem like a World War III. I cooked it last night with scallions & 3 eggs, soft rice with yam and broccoli - Daddy likes it! Of course, we do not know what will happen in 2021.  We can only hope for the best and brace for the worst!  No matter what we will face with, just plan one step at a time and keep it going!

  I dream a lot! It is more so in 2020 than ever! Our dreams are our strength.  They have lighted us in a very strange year!   It has forced me to reckon on what the college life would mean & shape our characters!  There is no subtle way to put it.  We would try our own dreams onto our grandchildren, though this grandparents’ caring is universal as well as personal. It is a tapestry of a whole family, a reminder that we are passing the batons to them.  That is a principle so literally simple but well-connected! As we all are approaching the last leg of this relay race of our life, it's understandable that we can be very nostalgic to involve a longing for long-gone moments.   Yes, we are connected.   Wish you, and the family a safe and happy Christmas! p.s. – This is not a normal way to celebrate the grand boy’s 4 th year birthday so close to Christmas holiday over Zoom with three families , but we are all connected.  ...
