  • Teacher Wu said, "Today is cold.  Have you shoveled the snow this week? There were 3 inches of snow and ice fallen over here. "今天很冷，你這星期鏟雪了嗎? 我們這裡有3英寸的冰雪 ." Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Jīntiān hěn lěng, nǐ zhè xīngqí chǎn xuěle ma? Wǒmen zhèlǐ yǒu 3 yīngcùn de bīngxuě."
  • Teacher Wu said, "I have to put the firewood in the fireplace to help heating up the house because the "Heat Pump" does not work well to keep the house warm. "我必須將木柴放在壁爐中以幫助加熱房屋，因為“Heat Pump”不能很好地維持房屋的溫度 ." Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Wǒ bìxū jiāng mùchái fàng zài bìlú zhōng yǐ bāngzhù jiārè fángwū, yīnwèi “Heat Pump” bùnéng hěn hǎo de wéichí fángwū de wēndù."

  • Teacher Wu said, "by the way, you all are doctors, and PHDs, what do you all think about how to call Dr. Biden as the First Lady of the United States?" " 吳老師說, : "順便說一句，你們都是醫生, Doctors 和 PHDs,  大家對如何稱呼 Biden博士 為美國第一夫人的看法?"  Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Shùnbiàn shuō yījù, Nǐmen dōu shì Doctors hé PHDs, dàjiā duì rúhé chēnghu Dr. Biden wéi měiguó dì yī fūrén de kànfǎ?"
  • Darrell Rico Doss ( 熊大東), Raymond(書宗), Joseph (高靖和), 和 Steve (葛艾倫) said, " We have no problem about how she will be called.  we don't care.  However, the academic professional titles do use "Doctor for PHD degrees."  Darrell Rico Doss ( 熊大東), Raymond(書宗), Joseph (高靖和), 和 Steve (葛艾倫)  said, "我們對她的稱呼沒有任何問題。 我們不在乎. 但是，學術專業頭銜確實使用“ Doctor - PHD博士學位。" Darrell Rico Doss ( 熊大東), Raymond(書宗), Joseph (高靖和), 和 Steve (葛艾倫) shuō: "Wǒmen duì tā de chēnghu méiyǒu rènhé wèntí.   • Teacher Wu said, "today, I will announce the information about "The Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL). "  吳老師說: "今天，我將宣布有關“漢語作為外語的考試（TOCFL）”的消息。” Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Jīntiān, wǒ jiāng xuānbù yǒuguān “hànyǔ zuòwéi wàiyǔ de kǎoshì (TOCFL)” de xiāoxī."

  • Steve (葛艾倫)  said, "I have a story to share.   • Raymond(書宗) said, "Jiu-Fen's scenery is beautiful and so crowded with people. I heard Philippine will be using vaccine from China, Sinovac.  Do you know which country's vaccines that Taiwan will be using?" Raymond(書宗)  說:, "九份的風景優美，人山人海。 聽說菲律賓將使用來自中國的Sinovac疫苗. 您知道台灣將使用哪個國家的疫苗?"Raymond(書宗) shuō: "Jiǔ fèn de fēngjǐng yōuměi, rénshānrénhǎi. Tīng shuō fēilǜbīn jiāng shǐyòng láizì zhōngguó de Sinovac yìmiáo. Nín zhīdào táiwān jiāng shǐyòng nǎge guójiā de yìmiáo?"
  • Teacher Wu said, "I do not know.  However, it's very competitive for COVID-19 vaccines development among all countries in the world. "  吳老師說: "我不知道。 但是，在世界所有國家中，COVID-19疫苗的開發都具有很強的競爭力!” 吳老師shuō: "Wǒ bù zhīdào. Dànshì, zài shìjiè suǒyǒu guójiā zhōng,COVID-19 yìmiáo de kāifā dōu jùyǒu hěn qiáng de jìngzhēng lì." 
  • Teacher Wu said, "Let's read Lesson 47 "New Year New Hopes"- I would like to have all four tones correct.     Today, we have reviewed "Let's Learn mandarin" Volume 1, Lesson 5 - how to differentiate "where?" and "there." in tones.  The class was video-recorded for one of the required sessions of teacher's training program for "Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning Teacher's Certificate.  今天，我們複習《來!學華語》第1冊第五課——如何區分“哪裡？ 和“那裡” 音調。 該課程為“ 「台灣華語文學習中心」 教師認證”教師培訓計劃必修課之一的視頻錄製。 Jīntiān, wǒmen fùxí “lái!
