Today, we have reviewed "Let's Learn mandarin" Volume 1, Lesson 5 - how to differentiate "where?" and "there." in tones. The class was video-recorded for one of the required sessions of teacher's training program for "Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning Teacher's Certificate.
今天，我們複習《來!學華語》第1冊第五課——如何區分“哪裡？和“那裡” 音調。該課程為“「台灣華語文學習中心」教師認證”教師培訓計劃必修課之一的視頻錄製。
Jīntiān, wǒmen fùxí “lái! Xué huáyǔ” dì 1 cè dì wǔ kè——rúhé qūfēn “nǎlǐ? Hé “nàlǐ” yīndiào. Gāi kèchéng wèi “`táiwān huáyǔ wén xuéxí zhōngxīn' jiàoshī rènzhèng” jiàoshī péixùn jìhuà bìxiū kè zhī yī de shìpín lùzhì.

We use Monkey King's magic wand from "Journey to the West" one of the greatest classical novels in Chinese Literature to explain the four tones according to his magic waving movement. First tone: mā ; Second tone: má ; Third tone: mǎ ; Fourth tone: mà.
我們使用中國文學最偉大的古典小說之一《西遊記》中的孫悟空的魔杖，根據他的魔術揮動動作來解釋四種音調。第一聲：mā；第二聲：má；第三聲：mǎ；第四聲：mà。
Wǒmen shǐyòng zhōngguó wénxué zuì wěidà de gǔdiǎn xiǎoshuō zhī yī “xīyóu jì” zhōng de sūnwùkōng de mózhàng, gēnjù tā de móshù huīdòng dòngzuò lái jiěshì sì zhǒng yīndiào. Dì yī shēng:Mā; dì èr shēng:Má; dì sān shēng:Mǎ; dì sì shēng:Mà.
We practice "where do you live?" and "I live over there." sentence patterns.
我們練習“你住在哪裡？” “我住在那裡。” 句型。
Wǒmen liànxí “nǐ zhù zài nǎlǐ?” “Wǒ zhù zài nà lǐ.” Jù xíng.

We learn the difference between the "4 continents" and the "states" of America.

We discuss about what they would like to learn in the cultural classes for the semester.

Wǒmen tǎolùnle tāmen xiǎng zài běn xuéqí de wénhuà kè shàngxué dào shénme.
