  From Food to Fruits – Eggnog Granola to Tamarillos ! My annual Christmas ritual – a passion for making Eggnog Granola – turns something special this year!     It’s just a simple gift meant to be nourished and to inspire you to live a healthier life.  Little did I know that I received 6 sweet, rare Tamarillos , aka Tree Tomatoes or Miracle Fruits from Amy Lin.     It’s mere coincidence that brought us together so far from San Francisco, CA. What a special treat from sharing the tradition of annual ritual: Ben, my husband couldn’t wait to savor this red-plum like fruit last night.   It reminds him of the “Passion Fruits” from his backyard in WaiPu, Taichung, Taiwan.   A wave of nostalgia came over him.   The fruits evoked the memories of his childhood days.   The old thatched-roof house where he was born shaped his life.        The gang ...
