Today, we have 3 students absent.
We warmly welcome a new
Student, Olga Oka. All other students along
with the teacher, shared their “self-introduction” with her. Olga is thrilled to join the class and learn Mandarin (Hànyǔ) conversation tailored
to her comfort level.
今天,我們有3位同學缺席。

Jīntiān, wǒmen yǒu 3 wèi tóngxué quēxí.
Wǒmen rèliè huānyíng xīn xuéshēng ào ěr jiā·ōu. Suǒyǒu qítā xuéshēng hé lǎoshī yīqǐ xiàng tā fēnxiǎngle tāmen de `zìwǒ jièshào'. Olga hěn gāoxìng néng jiārù zhè bān hé wǒmen yīqǐ xuéxí shìhé tā de chéngdù de hànyǔ (Hànyǔ).

briefly:
My name is Olga Oka, and I
am from Russia.
I have studied HSK (Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì) level 3 for two years at Georgetown
University.
I can speak Mandarin only a little.
I work as an engineer in Frederick.
奧爾加也簡單介紹了自己:
我叫奧爾加·歐,來自俄羅斯。
我在喬治城大學學習了兩年的HSK(漢語水平考試)3級。
我只會說一點漢語。
我在Frederick擔任工程師。
Ào ěr jiā yě jiǎndān jièshàole zìjǐ:

Today’s lesson covers “Let’s
Learn Mandarin Volume 2, Lesson 1” “ focusing on the topic “The weather is nice
today.”
We practice reading skills by
rotating roles to read the text introduction.
Additionally, I utilize the word cards containing key words from this lesson to help students construct sentences and practice proper enunciation. This will enable them to clearly articulate each word and understand sentence structure.
今天的課程是《來!學華語第二冊,第一課》,主題是「今天天氣很好」。
我們用輪換角色閱讀” 課文介紹” 來練習閱讀技巧。

Jīntiān de kèchéng shì “lái! Xué huáyǔ dì èr cè, dì yī kè”, zhǔtí shì `jīntiān tiānqì hěn hǎo'.
Wǒmen yòng lúnhuàn juésè yuèdú” kèwén jièshào” lái liànxí yuèdú jìqiǎo.
Cǐwài, wǒ shǐyòng běn kè guānjiàn zì de” dānzì kǎ” lái bāngzhù xuéshēng zàojù bìng liànxí zhèngquè de fāyīn. Zhèyàng nénggòu qīngchǔ dì biǎodá měi gè dānzì bìng lǐjiě jù zǐ jiégòu.

Olka: Please practice the Novice Level Mock Test for Reading, consisting of 25 questions, from page 35 to page 45 of the TOCFL.
