We all review “Self-Introduction” and Mandarin greeting (Survival) words again for Ken to learn easily and happily and understand the origin of his classmates' names and the related history of naming by their parents or teachers.

Wǒmen dàjiā zài fùxí yīxià huáyǔ jīběn 12 jù yǔcí'jíshēnghuó duǎn yǔjiǎndān zìwǒ jièshào'ràng 范健,qīngsōng yúkuài de xuéxí, liǎojiě tóngxué de míngzì láiyuán, fùmǔ huò lǎoshī mìngmíng de xiāngguān lìshǐ.

We congratulate all 5 students who passed TOCFL Pre-screening 2.0 (Listening and Reading) on October 25, 2023.  The transcripts and certificates were presented to them along with the gifts (TCML note-folder).

Wǒmen gōngxǐ suǒyǒu 5 míng xuéshēng yú 2023 nián 10 yuè 25 rì tōngguò TOCFL huá cè kuài shāi 2.0 (Tīnglì, hé yuèdú). Chéngjī dān hé zhèngshū liántóng lǐwù (huáyǔ wén xuéxí zhōngxīn bǐjì wénjiàn jiā) yīqǐ zèngsòng gěi tāmen.

We will use the pre-screening results as the guide to your proficiency level while planning our courses accordingly.  Our goal is to take the official TOCFL next year.

我們將使用華測快篩2.0結果你的熟練程度,同時規劃我們的課程。 我們的目標是明年參加正式華測。

Wǒmen jiāng shǐyòng huá cè kuài shāi 2.0 Jiéguǒ jí nǐ de shúliàn chéngdù, tóngshí guīhuà wǒmen de kèchéng. Wǒmen de mùbiāo shì míngnián cānjiā zhèngshì huá cè

We study the history of these 9-16 Aboriginal groups in Taiwan.  Thanks Ken’s self-introduction that he is likely the descendent of one of the groups according to his communication and research study with the parents while he was in Taiwan for language training at National Cheng Kung University and National Taiwan Normal University.

我們還討論台灣這9-16個原住民的歷史。 感謝范健的自我介紹,根據他在台灣成功大學和師範大學學習語言時與父母交流和研究家族祖先,他他很可能帶有其中一個群族的血統。

Wǒmen hái tǎolùn táiwān zhè 9-16 gè yuán zhùmín de lìshǐ. Gǎnxiè 范健 de zìwǒ jièshào, gēnjù tā zài táiwān chénggōng dàxué hé shīfàn dàxué xuéxí yǔyán shí yǔ fùmǔ jiāoliú hé yánjiū jiāzú zǔxiān, tā shuō tā hěn kěnéng dài yǒu qízhōng yīgè qún zú de xuètǒng.

He also shared with us the history of “Kaifeng Jews” during the discussion of classmates’  “self-introduction.”

他也在同學們的「自我介紹」討論中與我們分享了「開封猶太人」的歷史。

Tā yě zài tóngxuémen de `zìwǒ jièshào'tǎolùn zhōng yǔ wǒmen fēnxiǎngle `kāifēng yóutàirén'de lìshǐ.

Thanks to Ken and new student, Beverly Fang, who did not make the new class yesterday for taking time to participate TOCFL Pre-screening 2.0 Listening Part.  Both of them did well.  Good job!
