Grieving for Dr. Henry Kao - April 10, 2023

 Li-Lin, and Albert:

Losing a good friend, father-figure is hard.  He is like my older brother that the superintendent who took me to him in January 1974 when I had my first teaching job after graduate school as a special ed teacher at Campbell County Public School, Lynchburg, Virginia.  Life has its highs and lows even when we are suffering miserably.  We will try to cope as best as we can without Dad’s mental support anymore.  We will embrace each other continuously.  The following are some of my memories of Dr. Kao, and Mom, Mrs. Kao that I have kept about their love for me.  It helps me release the pent-up sadness from all these years with your mom and Dad.  I hope we will still be lending our own shoulders to offer comfort for one another.
