  • 1.   5/20/23, Asia Fiesta event was a success!

    2.    Thanks for the Planning Committee members, President, Natalie, Former TAA president, Sam Huang, who drive three of us, Bi-Yien, Hsiu-Yien, navigating the road closure on I-270 north and South bound today due to car crash investigation.  We are honored to have Overseas Chinese Affairs Advisory Committee member, Helen, who helped explain the unique "Taiwanese Culture-Moon-Blocks" traditionally asking the deities the divine guidance in the form of “Yes or NO” from the sides of moon blocks either on the flat or the rounded displayed.

    3.    Pennsylvania Ave in Washington DC, which was transformed into an outdoor classroom.  The enthusiastic and curious participants who were muttering questions such as “I want to have a girlfriend and other questions in secret.”  It was such an educational and lively introduction to attract so many interested crowds.

    4.    We are also recruiting students for the Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning.  There are quite a few students who are interested in participating in WDCTS/TCML.

    5.    Most of them can read quite well from the textbooks displayed on the table.  We used 42 out of 50 sheets of WDCTS/TCML fliers prepared by the registrar officer, Ting.

    6.      We plan to write an individual letter to invite them to join us in fall semester 2023 classes.  They can be placed in the intermediate and advanced levels.1. 5/20/23, 今天Asia Fiesta 成功!
