We reviewed the word lists to prepare for the upcoming "radical, word recognizing competition" on 10/16. Everyone has award.
我們復習了部首表，為即將於 10 月 16 日舉行的“部首，拼字，並認字比賽”做準備。人人有獎。
Wǒmen fùxíle bù shǒu biǎo, wèi jíjiāng yú 10 yuè 16 rì jǔxíng de “bù shǒu, pīn zì, bìng rèn zì bǐsài” zuò zhǔnbèi. Rén rén yǒu jiǎng.

The radical is "big". The original meaning of "jiang" is "wood chips with gravy", the extended meaning is "to make the dog lick the meat juice and excited", later the "dog" character becomes "big", and then the extended meaning is "attraction", "induction". Original meaning: to stimulate and induce dogs to work harder.

While we were in the discussion of "Taiwanese Street Food" we also touched up "Vegetable Market names for children" such as Amao, Agou, Ahwa, Ajie, Amei, and Adi, to make them relatively intimate for the family not to discriminate or to prejudice otherwise. For example, Darrell Rico Doss ( 熊大東) 's nickname is 'Family." Our assistant teacher Ting is "Amei." He immediately recited his speech contest title "Taiwan's beauty is her people. Taiwanese food is delicious."

We checked Lesson 7 homework page 44, 45 and lesson. We will learn how to play "Chinese Chess" which is a "cultural class" arranged by school next week. We learned " jiǎng" today and " "shuai" from 5/16/2021".
