September 11, 2022 - Washington D.C. Taiwanese School Advanced Mandarin Conversation Class Note

 


 



  • Today, we combined three students from Intermediate Class due to traffic issues from the teacher.  we reviewed "Let's Learn mandarin" Volume 1, Lesson 5 - how to differentiate "where?" and "there." in tones.  We practiced how to respond from each other from the prepared sentence cards.
  • 今天,由於老師的交通問題,我們合併了中級班的三個學生。 我們複習「來!學華語」教過的「哪」及「那」的音調,及從準備好的句子卡片中練習互相對話。
  • Jīntiān, yóuyú lǎoshī de jiāotōng wèntí, wǒmen hébìngle zhōngjí bān de sān gè xuéshēng. Wǒmen fùxí `lái! Xué huáyǔ'jiàoguò de `nǎ'jí `nà'de yīndiào, jí cóng zhǔnbèi hǎo de jùzi kǎpiàn zhōng liànxí hùxiāng duìhuà.

 

 

 


 

 

 

  •  We practiced listening drills by reading the comic strip without pinyin - "Dennis the Menace".  The assigned homework for next week is "to write 5 sentences from what we have learned today.
  • 我們看沒有拼音的漫畫,練習說話。 下週的作業是根據我們所學的內容寫出五個句子
  • Wǒmen kàn méiyǒu pīnyīn de mànhuà, liànxí shuōhuà. Xià zhōu de zuòyè shì gēnjù wǒmen suǒ xué de nèiróng xiě chū wǔ gè jùzi。
  •  


     


  • The planned "cultural events" for this semester will include "aboriginals in Taiwan" and "Taiwanese Opera" introduction. The tentative plan is to compile an act of opera play from each student's contribution of playscripts.
  • 本學期計劃的“文化活動”將包括“台灣原住民”和“歌仔戲”介紹。 暫定計劃是根據每個學生貢獻的劇本編寫一部歌仔戲表演。
  • Běn xuéqí jìhuà de “wénhuà huódòng” jiāng bāokuò “táiwān yuán zhùmín” hé “gēzǐxì” jièshào. Zhàndìng jìhuà shì gēnjù měi gè xuéshēng gòngxiàn de jùběn biānxiě yī bù gēzǐxì biǎoyǎn.

  • I will be out next week on 9/18/22.  The class will be a joint session with Teacher Tung.
  • 我將在 22 年 9 月 18 日缺席。 下週課程將與董老師班合併一起進行。
  • Wǒ jiàng zài 22 nián 9 yuè 18 rì quēxí. Xià zhōu kèchéng jiāng yǔ dǒng lǎoshī bān hébìng yīqǐ jìnxíng.
