  • Teacher Wu said, "I have something important to announce: "Mandarin Conversation classes at Washington DC Taiwanese School" was selected in June as one of the four "Community Mandarin Language Learning Centers" for the eastern region of  the U.S.A. from "Overseas Community Affairs Council" in Taiwan."  吳老師: "“我有重要的事情要宣布:“華府臺灣學校華語會話班”於6月被中華民國僑務委員會”選為美國東部地區四個社區華語文學習中心”之一 .”" Wú lǎoshī shuō: "“Wǒ yǒu zhòngyào de shìqíng yào xuānbù:“HuáFǔ Táiwān xuéxiào Huáyǔ huìhuà bān” yú 6 yuè bèi Zhōnghuá mínguó qiáowù wěiyuánhuì” xuǎn wèi měiguó dōngbù dìqū sì gè “shèqū HuáyǔWén xuéxí  zhōngxīn zhī yī.”
  • Teacher Wu said, "Our learning situation in school as a teacher and students is still the same only the school will handle the detailed administrative issues.  Please encourage your wives to join our class as the teaching assistant or students."  吳老師: "“我們作為老師和學生在學校的學習情況還是一樣,只是學校會處理詳細的行政問題。 請鼓勵您的太太作為助教或學生加入我們的班級。.”" Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Wǒmen zuòwéi lǎoshī hé xuéshēng zài xuéxiào de xuéxí qíngkuàng háishì yīyàng, zhǐshì xuéxiào huì chǔlǐ xiángxì de xíngzhèng wèntí. Qǐng gǔlì nín de tài tái zuòwéi zhùjiào huò xuéshēng jiārù wǒmen de bānjí."
  • Teacher Wu said, "Let's all learn Mandarin conversation together, because I have taught you before about this Confucius' proverb."  吳老師: "“大家一起來學華語會話吧,因為孔子的這句諺語我以前教過你。”" Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Dàjiā yì qǐlái xué Huáyǔ huìhuà ba, yīnwèi kǒngzǐ de zhè jù yànyǔ wǒ yǐqián jiàoguò nǐ."
  •  "when three are walking together, I am sure to find teachers among them."

  • Teacher Wu said, "let's share everyone's homework :  Using any metaphors to write "what do you see after the disappearance of cicadas from the year 2021?""  吳老師: "讓我們分享大家的作業:  用任何比喻來寫下“2021年蟬消失後你看到了什麼?" 。"
