• Teacher Wu said, "Today, we are having one on one private tutor lesson due to the absence of  all students from schedule conflicts."  吳老師說: "“今天我們是一對一的私人家教，因為時間衝突，他們都缺席了。" Wú lǎoshī shuō: "“Jīntiān wǒmen shì yī duì yī de sīrén jiā jiào, yīn wéi shíjiān chōngtú, tāmen dōu quēxíle.”
• Teacher Wu said, "Have you ever been a tutor before?"  吳老師說: "“你以前做過家教嗎？" Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Nǐ yǐqián zuòguò jiājiào ma?"
• Joseph (高 靖和) said, "I have never been a tutor before, but I was taught by a private tutor guitar lesson."  Joseph (高 靖和) 說: "我以前從來沒有當過家教。 但是， 被一位私人老師教吉他" Joseph (高 靖和) shuō: "Wǒ yǐqián cónglái méiyǒu dāngguò jiājiào. Dànshì, bèi yī wèi sīrén lǎoshī jiào jítā."
• Teacher Wu said, "Yes, today, we are learning the sentence structures in active and passive voice."  吳老師說: "是的，今天我們學主動語態和被動語態的句子結構。" Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Shì de, jīntiān wǒmen xué zhǔdòng yǔ tài hé bèidòng yǔ tài de jù zǐ jiégòu."
• Teacher Wu said, "Let's see the homework from last week: evaluation to Teacher Wu."  吳老師說: "來看看上週的作業：給吳老師的評價。" Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Lái kàn kàn shàng zhōu de zuòyè: Gěi wú lǎoshī de píngjià."

• "What else do you want me as a teacher or school to teach you anything more than what we have already been learning?"

• “除了我們已經學過的東西，你還想讓我作為老師或學校教你什麼？”

• “Chúle wǒmen yǐjīng xuéguò de dōngxī, nǐ hái xiǎng ràng wǒ zuòwéi lǎoshī huò xuéxiào jiào nǐ shénme?”

• Joseph (高 靖和) said, "My evaluations in English are as follows:1. I like teacher's assignment to allow us to express in Chinese from different subjects related to our world, work, society and things we learned.  So, we can practice the simple speaking and writing. 2. I recommend that the teacher emphasize on teaching more from the textbooks so I can catch up with other classmates who are much higher in mandarin conversation skills than me.  I think I need more time to focus on the words learning and listening. "
• Joseph (高 靖和) said, "我的英文評價如下:1. 我喜歡老師的作業，讓我們用中文表達與我們的世界、工作、社會和我們學到的東西有關的不同學科。 所以我們可以練習簡單的口語和寫作。2. 我建議老師多從課本上講課，這樣我就可以趕上其他華語會話能力比我高得多的同學。 我想我需要更多的時間來專注於單詞的學習和聽力。"
•  Joseph (高 靖和) shuō: "Wǒ de yīngwén píngjià rúxià: 1. Wǒ xǐhuān lǎoshī de zuòyè, ràng wǒmen yòng zhōngwén biǎodá yǔ wǒmen de shìjiè, gōngzuò, shèhuì hé wǒmen xué dào de dōngxī yǒuguān de bùtóng xuékē. Suǒyǐ wǒmen kěyǐ liànxí jiǎndān de kǒuyǔ hé xiězuò. 2. Wǒ jiànyì lǎoshī duō cóng kèběn shàng jiǎngkè, zhèyàng wǒ jiù kěyǐ gǎn shàng qítā Huáyǔ huìhuà nénglì bǐ wǒ gāo dé duō de tóngxué. Wǒ xiǎng wǒ xūyào gèng duō de shíjiān lái zhuānzhù yú dāncí de xuéxí hé tīnglì."
• Joseph (高 靖和) said, "I also suggest the regular exams to test my learning progress. "
• Joseph (高 靖和) said, "我還建議定期考試來測試我的學習進度。"
•  Joseph (高 靖和) shuō: "Wǒ hái jiànyì dìngqí kǎoshì lái cèshì wǒ de xuéxí jìndù."
• Joseph (高 靖和) said, "My wife welcomes teacher's idea to serve as the "teaching assistant" either for our "advanced mandarin conversation class" or for "other "conversation class.""   
• Joseph (高 靖和) said, "我的太太歡迎老師的想法，擔任我們“高級普通話會話班”或“其他”會話班的“助教。"”
•  Joseph (高 靖和) shuō: "Wǒ de tàitài huānyíng lǎoshī de xiǎngfǎ, dānrèn wǒmen “gāojí pǔtōnghuà huìhuà bān” huò “qítā” huìhuà bān de “zhùjiào.”"
• Teacher Wu said, "Thank you for your valuable evaluations.  You  have been progressing nicely since you joined our class from "the beginner class."  You are really catching up well with other classmates.  Remember? I always stress the following proverb?"  吳老師說: "感謝您的寶貴評價。 自從你從“初級班”加入我們的班級以來，你的進步一直很好。 你真的趕上了其他同學。 記住？ 我總是強調下面的諺語？"  " Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Gǎnxiè nín de bǎoguì píngjià. Zìcóng nǐ cóng “chūjí bān” jiārù wǒmen de bānjí yǐlái, nǐ de jìnbù yīzhí hěn hǎo. Nǐ zhēn de gǎn shàngle qítā tóngxué. Jì zhù? Wǒ zǒng shì qiángdiào xiàmiàn de yànyǔ?"

• Teacher Wu said, "We will teach this "registration" lesson at the next class on August 8.  Hope you all did the registration for fall semester."  吳老師說: "我們將在 8 月 8 日的下一堂課教“註冊”這課。希望你們都完成了秋季學期的註冊。 " Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Wǒmen jiàng zài 8 yuè 8 rì de xià yītáng kè  jiào “zhùcè” zhè kè. Xīwàng nǐmen dōu wánchéngle qiūjì xuéqí de zhùcè."
