My Reading and Teaching Corner 2020 - 2021
This has been my "Teaching
and Reading Corner" for the past year since the COVID 19 lockdown on March
15, 2020.
Hope the bitterly cold winter of 2021 will give us a reprieve. See the elusive but beautiful sunshine yesterday (February 27, 2020) and the chia grass pot I planted on February 16, 2020 when I was so depressed about the "never-ending cold snaps" in Maryland.
This is my on-line classroom platform where I teach to my 11 students, in Taiwan, in Maryland and my two grand kids in California over Zoom, Skype. This is the concert hall where I test my voice over Cisco's Webex with the Washington Oratorio. This is my cozy reading sanctuary where I picked up old and new books introduced by either from my students, children, grandchildren and of course, the literary best seller lists.
The world has been constantly
changing over our heads since I had vague idea about who I am. However,
the pandemic Corona virus, the 2020 presidential election, the racial
awakening, the global warming effects (California Fire, Texas sub-freezing
temperatures) and my anxiety and self-doubt about the "religion" make
all more acute than ever.
Please help me overcome all
these dilemmas that I cannot figure out! Do I still know who I am?
